Karns running back DeSean Bishop decommits from Coastal Carolina football after coach leaves
Karns senior running back DeSean Bishop de-committed from Coastal Carolina University, he announced on Twitter on Tuesday.

He committed to the Chanticleers on July 14.
Liberty announced on Sunday it had hired Coastal Carolina coach Jamey Chadwell. North Carolina State offensive coordinator Tim Beck was named coach of the Chanticleers on Monday.
Bishop is the No. 37 player in the state and the No. 78 running back in country, according to 247Sports Composite. This season, he rushed for 2,413 yards and 30 touchdowns in 11 games.

Bishop won the Tennessee Titans Mr. Football for Class 5A for the second year in a row. He won the award in 2021 after rushing for 3,179 yards.
He also had offers from Tennessee and Purdue among others.
