Kate Beckinsale has said it's been two years since she's seen daughter Lily Sheen.
The 47-year-old actor claimed that due to the coronavirus pandemic and work commitments she's been kept apart from her only child, whose father is Beckinsale's ex-partner Michael Sheen.
Speaking on US show Live with Kelly and Ryan while promoting her new film Jolt, the Underworld star explained: "I haven't seen my daughter for two years because of everything. Also, I went to Canada working and she couldn't come see me.

She added: "Thank goodness for FaceTime and all that, but we're both panicking that we'll look really old to each other."
Beckinsale also opened up on her 22-year-old daughter following her parents' career path as she's filmed a picture with Nicolas Cage.
The mother-of-one said it was "quite scary" to see her offspring "off and running".
The action comedy movie, The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, is set for release in 2022 and sees Cage play a fictionalised version of himself.
Lily became a big sister back in 2019 when Good Omens actor Sheen welcomed his second child into the world. His girlfriend Anna Lundberg gave birth to their daughter Lyra back in 2019.

Despite high profile romances with Sheen and her ex-husband, filmmaker Len Wiseman, Beckinsale recently claimed she has never been on a date.
"I've never really been on a date," she said in an interview with Extra. "I literally meet someone, get to know them at work, and then either marry them or get pregnant by them."
