Kate Chastain Just Bought a Home and Is "In the Process of Moving"

After a hectic year in which she relocated several times, Kate Chastain has made a major, and more permanent, move. "We've moved 7 times since March 1, 2020," the Below Deck alum wrote in an Instagram Story photo. "So [I] decided to buy a place."

Showing her dog, Halo, resting atop a round entryway table, Kate added, "Halo is really over it." The photo also captured gray-and-white flooring, bright white walls, moving boxes, and open blinds showing a peek of vibrant outdoor greenery.

Although she has yet to share details about her new abode, it seems Kate is beginning to get settled in, as she explained in an April 5 Tweet, "[I] have been in the process of moving."

In March 2020, Kate revealed that she had moved to a new apartment in New York City's West Village neighborhood. "Halo is in absolute SHOCK over all the space in our new, amazing, much larger apartment," she wrote at the time. Just one month later, she temporarily relocated to her home state of Florida to self-isolate amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite a two-day period in which the "house exterior was COMPLETELY covered in love bugs," Kate seemed to enjoy her time at the house, particularly the picturesque views from her backyard.

In January 2021, Kate shared on Bravo's Chat Room that she was "back in New York" and gave a peek at her apartment's bookshelf and chic accent decor. Gizelle Bryant was particularly excited about Kate's return to the Big Apple at the time, explaining, "Kate, I'm so happy you're back in New York because I just feel like that's where you belong."

While Kate has yet to share where her new digs are located, we're excited to see her (and Halo!) settle in.
