Kate Hudson stripped down to her underwear to help raise much-needed funds for breast cancer research.
The 42-year-old actress does this practically every year, but she’s looking extra strong this time around: Her abs are absolutely shredded.
Kate loves doing Pilates and getting on her Peloton Tread. But she also swears by the Mirror and the Tracy Anderson Method.
Kate, 42, dropped a photo of herself on Instagram, stretching in beige underwear while wearing high-heeled boots. “It’s Breast Cancer Awareness month and I’m stretching my quads before joining my friends at @kitundergarments and @thirdlove as they kick it to cancer 💪 by donating 15% of sales from the #kitstokickcancer collection to Women’s Cancer Research Fund💗,” she wrote in the caption. While the cause is super important and the underwear is cute, it’s hard to ignore Kate’s toned legs and arms and totally jacked abs.
People in the comments definitely noticed. “Umm 🔥🔥🔥 love you @katehudson 💋❣️,” singer Paula Abdul wrote. “HELLLLLLO HOT STUFF 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥,” celebrity stylist Jamie Mizrahi said. And Paris Hilton kept it simple with: “🔥🔥🔥🔥.”
Of course, Kate works hard for that banging body. As Women's Health previously reported, Kate exercises three to four times a week with her trainer, Nicole Stuart, who she’s known since she was 19. The duo usually do Pilates-inspired workouts together.
“I know I'm at my strongest is when I'm doing my Pilates because it never gets easier,” Kate told WH. “The more you do Pilates the harder the things you can do become. I love how flexible I feel and I like what it does to the shape of my body."
But Kate does plenty of other exercises, too. As in, pretty much everything. “I like to do any kind of dance workout,” she said. She even does indoor cycling and running, because of course she does. “I have the Peloton Tread, I just got it and I love Peloton,” Kate said. "I think they make it so easy to have ‘no excuse’ workouts.”
Oh, you thought that was all she did? Noper. Kate even does workouts with the Mirror, a virtual gym that helps you do pretty much any exercise. She’s cycled through everything from barre to strength training workouts and posted the evidence on her Instagram Stories. Kate also shared on Instagram earlier this year that she’s a fan of celebrity-loved Tracy Anderson Method workouts, which are big on dance-based cardio.
