Kate Hudson, beautiful human, talented actress, wonderful mother, decided recently to add another superlative to her resume: vodka connoisseur. In fact, not only did she decide to learn about the liquor, she went ahead and made some of her own. Introducing King St. Vodka, a premium craft vodka brought to you by the one and only Kate Hudson.

Here's what we know about the vodka so far: It's gluten-free, non-GMO, and "crafted with alkaline water and 7x distilled for purity," a press release confirms. King St. Vodka is made in Santa Barbara, CA, but the name of the stuff comes from her memories of living on King Street in NYC's Greenwich Village.

Fittingly, Kate unveiled the vodka at a party in New York this week and she explained the venture as such:

After a particularly long day, I decided to host an impromptu cocktail party with my closest friends. As I prepared to whip up a batch of dirty vodka martinis I surveyed my bar, but I wasn’t 100 percent happy with my options. Then I wondered, “Are any of these vodkas founded by women?” I did some research, they weren’t. So, I decided to make my own just the way I like it!

With the announcement comes a chic lil website, where Kate provides lots of vodka-centric cocktail recipes, as well as gorgeous lifestyle images that serve no purpose other than to wish you were (1) drunk RN and (2) Kate Hudson.

Anyway! We're talking about a premium-made, female-founded, hydration-heavy alcohol. All good things. You can learn more about King St. Vodka here.
