Kate Hudson says 'Mission: Impossible' star Tom Cruise scaled eight-foot gate to get into party
Kate Hudson has said Tom Cruise once scaled an eight-foot gate to get into a party at her mum’s house.
The Almost Famous actress, 40, revealed that she and her brother Oliver Hudson used to throw huge parties at their mother Goldie Hawn’s house.

And she said she was stunned when the Mission: Impossible star – who is known for tackling his own stunts in his movies - literally dropped in for a bash.
Speaking on Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show, Hudson said of the party: “I'm standing at the door making sure that people who aren't supposed to be at the party aren't coming in – there are like 400 people at my parents' house and I'm kind of freaking out a little bit, the control freak in me is like, ‘This is not ok’.
“And I see someone scaling - literally scaling - an eight-foot gate at my parents' house.”

Hudson continued: “They come off and they do like a back handspring and pose down and I'm about to yell at this guy - and it's Tom Cruise!”
DeGeneres made a joke about that being the way Cruise gets around, and Hudson laughed: “He is Mission: Impossible! It was wild!”
Hudson is the daughter of actress Hawn and musician and actor Bill Hudson.
Hawn split from Hudson in 1980 and their divorce was finalised in 1982.
She started dating actor Kurt Russell in 1983 and the pair are still together.
