As a mom of three with a busy schedule filled with activities like dance, pilates, and the occasional acting gig, we've always wondered how Kate Hudson manages to keep her complexion so fresh and glowy. Thanks to one of her most recent Instagram posts, we finally know what a few of her secrets are: a detoxifying mask, a cult favorite face oil, and a facial steamer that just happens to be on sale right now.

On Jan. 10, the 42-year-old shared her morning skincare routine in an Instagram reel. In the video, Kate starts off by soaking a face towel in warm water before steaming her face with the Vanity Planet Aira Ionic Facial Steamer, which uses water vapor to help unclog pores in order for the skin to better absorb treatments and serums. For the uninitiated, facial steamers are the perfect way to give your skin an at-home spa treatment for even just a fraction of the cost. The one Kate uses typically retails for $140, though it's currently on sale for just $67.

And speaking of treatments, the actress follows her steamer with Juice Beauty's Revitalizing Acacia + Rose Powdered Mask. The mask — which she created in collaboration with the brand — features a powder formula that transforms into a paste once you add water, and uses rose petal powder to brighten the skin while hyaluronic acid works to hydrate and visibly reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

The star has previously shared her love of masking with her fans, sharing in an Instagram post last year that "a little mask in the morning is my favorite way to wake up my skin."

According to the video, Kate leaves a thin layer of the mask on before wiping it off with warm, damp towel. She follows the mask up with what appears to be the Juice Beauty Blemish Clearing Serum and the Augustinus Bader Face Oil.

In a cover story for WH's December 2019 issue, Kate previously gave us a look into her skincare routine, and she mentioned that she occasionally sees a facialist when she has special events to attend and uses an at-home chemical peel to "peel away" any blemishes or imperfections. Like most celebs though, her most important tip for keeping your complexion in check is to stay hydrated.

"Water to me is the great kind of healer," she said. "And when I'm drinking good water, my skin looks the best. If I had to conjure something up, it would be water."
