Kate Major Lohan Pleads Out of DUI Case, Receiving Voluntary Treatment at Facility

Kate Major Lohan is on the up and up after wrapping up her criminal case while also proactively working on her ongoing issues with substance abuse.

The estranged wife of Lindsay Lohan‘s father spoke with photographers outside of the courthouse in Allentown, Pennsylvania after pleading guilty to one charge of disorderly conduct stemming from her arrest on Christmas Day.

Back in December, Lohan allegedly attacked a bus driver during a drunken tirade before trying to commandeer the bus full of passengers.

After pleading guilty to the disorderly conduct, Lohan was hit with a $500 fine and the DUI charges were withdrawn.

A very humble Lohan said she is “really thankful” for the incident to be behind her, and admits, “I shouldn’t have acted the way I did.”

She also apologized to the bus driver and is looking forward to moving on with her life. Part of moving on is also receiving voluntary treatment for alcohol abuse, of which we’re told she has recently been receiving after realizing she needed some help.

Lohan looks great and appears to be very focused on her sobriety and recovery.
