Earlier today, the Princess of Wales stepped out at NatWest bank's London headquarters to promote her new Business Taskforce for Early Childhood as the next chapter in her recently launched Shaping Us initiative. For the meeting, the stylish royal indeed looked ready for business, wearing one of her trusty Alexander McQueen blazers in a bone color over a matching top with black cigarette pants, her favorite Gianvito Rossi pumps, and gold and diamond hoop earrings from British jewelry brand Asprey.

The new Business Taskforce consists of powerful businesses and finance leaders, which Kate is hoping will play a crucial part in her work to change the way society prioritizes children and their environment in the first five years of life. According to Kensington Palace, the group is expected to meet regularly to discuss new thoughts and ideas on how to best support their social and emotional well-being.

Speaking to a group of executives, Kate said: "I know businesses are feeling the pressure across the board. However, I truly believe that by investing in early childhood, with a specific focus on social and emotional development, businesses in turn will see in the future… better communication, better working relationships, improved resilience, employees finding better work–life balance, less stress, more patience and understanding and increased job satisfaction. Not only that, but the societal impact we could have, if we work together on this, could transform lives for generations to come. As the saying goes, it really does take a village."

Today's event comes two months after the launch of the Shaping Us project. The campaign is by Kate's Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood to help raise awareness of a child's early life.
