Prince William, Kate's husband, is in New Zealand and made his own appearance at a service there. This is the Duchess of Cambridge's first royal engagement in almost a month, although she was last out this weekend for a family outing: Easter service with the Queen in Windsor.

Kate dressed in teal for the Anzac Day service today, wearing a coat dress with a matching feathered fascinator. (Anzac, which stands for the Australia and New Zealand Army Corps, Day is the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand troops during the first World War. It honors the troops who served and died in all wars and conflicts.)

The Duchess was joined by Prince Harry. He initially wasn't slated to attend the service since his wife Meghan Markle is imminently due with their first child. But in a clear sign that Meghan hasn't given birth yet, Harry's appearance at the Anzac Day event was announced this morning. The Daily Mail's royal reporter Rebecca English tweeted that she was told by a source that Harry "is pleased he can attend today’s Service, as planned. With their baby due, his name was not printed in the programme in case he was unable to do so."

Harry and Kate's joint appearance further defuses Fab Four royal rift rumors. Harry and William were reported by multiple outlets last week to have some distance now, after barely speaking to each other at Easter service. But Entertainment Tonight was told by a source that despite William and Harry's current relationship, Harry and Kate are so close that he considers her to be the sister he never had.

Harry and Meghan initially dispelled rumors of a rift when they left a sweet comment on Kate and William's birthday post for their youngest son Prince Louis. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex wrote to their nephew and his parents, "Happy Birthday Louis! Sending lots of love from both of us 🎂🎈 xo."
