Kate Middleton Reportedly Took Prince George and Princess Charlotte Shopping in London

Though a royal childhood is far from average, the Duchess of Cambridge tries to provide a shred of normalcy to her three kids. One such example took place yesterday, when Kate was reportedly spotted shopping in London with Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

According to Hello!, the trio ventured to Smiggle, a stationery store on Kings Road in London. The Duchess and her two eldest children were out and about before George and Charlotte's classes started up again following their school's Easter holiday.

Twitter user @lexif1980 noted that she heard the children were quite well behaved. Apparently, they were given their own money and learning about spending.

"The kids had a budget that they stuck to and paid for their own things with their own money," she said. "Just normal well brought up children and a normal parent trying to do the right thing and that’s just lovely!"

The Twitter user said the royals' behavior while shopping increased her affection for the young family. "I’ve always been a Kate Middleton fan... today she was in one of my stores on the Kings Road with George and Charlotte, what the team told me about how she was with them and how the kids were with each other makes me like her even more!" she noted.

This is not the first time the Duchess has taken her children out on the town. In 2018, Kate reportedly took both George and Charlotte back-to-school shoe shopping at Peter Jones in London.
