Kate Middleton Reveals a New Subject Prince George Is Learning In School
We can add something new to Prince George's growing list of interests, thanks to his doting mother Kate Middleton.
The Duchess was speaking with children during an engagement at King Henry's Walk Garden, a community garden in London. The group was enjoying making pizza when an 8-year-old said he'd like to meet Kate's kids.
"They would love to come and do this with you," she told him. "They will be very sad that I’ve been out here making pizzas with all of you and they haven’t been here. They're in a classroom. George is at a school called Thomas's. He's learning about space."
The young prince seems to be interested in other scientific fields as well. This past September, Prince William revealed that his son has a thing for dinosaurs. "George is obsessed with dinosaurs so we're learning all about them," he told a child playing with a triceratops toy at the Acorns Hospice center.
George also has a thing for helicopters-perhaps in part because his father once piloted them professionally. During a recent visit to London's Air Ambulance Charity, Prince William was given a toy helicopter for George, and it seems it was a great idea. "I can't go back without a helicopter for George, I’d be in trouble," William said, thanking the Charity for the gift.
That's not to say that he's only learning about space, aviation, and prehistoric animals. George's curriculum at Thomas's Battersea is comprehensive, to say the least. He's be taking math, English, science, history, geography, religious studies, French, music, drama, ballet, and physical education this year-an education to fit a (future) king.
