This Is What Kate Middleton Said to Prince Louis During His Viral Meltdown

The Cambridge kids spent a lot of time in the spotlight during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee weekend, but no one had more of a moment than Prince Louis, an icon and legend who spent much of his time on the balcony of Buckingham Palace doing this:

Being a member of the royal family entails a lot of time sitting around and looking fancy, and while Princess Charlotte and Prince George were pretty down to sit around a wave, Prince Louis—who reminder, is only four—wasn't exactly here for it. By now you've probably already watched and re-watched this viral moment (which Kate handled flawlessly), but:

Again, Kate's been getting a lot of praise for the way she handled Louis' antics considering she was being photographed by a million photographers and (obviously) filmed, and now a lip reader is out here deciphering exactly what she said to get Louis to calm down.

Per The Sun, lip reading expert Jeremy Freeman told Daily Star that Kate said “You have to," to which Louis replied “I don’t want to." Kate then replied "I said no hands" and "look" (pointing out the parade to her son), and then added “stop doing that” when Louis pulled a face at her.

I mean, handling a kid who isn't here for it is a challenge at the best of times, so shoutout to Kate for maintaining her patience. Also, royal lip readers have truly been working overtime at this event deciphering some (largely very boring) conversations about logistics and airplane formations, so if that sounds like your vibe head here:
