Kate Middleton's Garden Party Look Is Pretty in Pink (and Ideal Spring Outfit Inspo)

Another day, another royal engagement complete with serious fashion inspiration. Kate Middleton attended a Buckingham Palace Garden Party hosted by Queen Elizabeth wearing a head-to-toe pink ensemble that's giving off all of the warm-weather vibes.

Buckingham Palace hosts several garden parties each year, the first of which was last week. The next will take place on May 29, and then one in Scotland at the Palace of the Holyroodhouse on July 3.

Arriving with Prince William, the duchess wore a light pink coatdress by Alexander McQueen (who designed her wedding dress), with a matching fascinator by Juliette Botterill and Princess Diana's pearl earrings.

According to Daily Mail royal correspondent Rebecca English, the springtime soiree has around 8,000 guests. Casual.

The queen's party on Tuesday comes on the heels of another garden-related engagement for the duchess this past weekend.

She's been working on the RHS Chelsea's Back to Nature Garden, which she designed with award-winning landscape architects Andrée Davies and Adam White of Davies White Landscape Architects.

In a statement, Kate said, “In recent years I have focused much of my work on the early years, and how instrumental they are for outcomes later in life. I believe that spending time outdoors when we are young can play a role in laying the foundations for children to become happy, healthy adults.”

According to the palace, "The garden is aiming to inspire interaction with the natural environment through its multi-sensory, green and blue plant scheme. The garden will be filled with incredible edibles, plants for craft activities, forest scents and a diverse range of plants, shrubs and trees of different heights and textures."

Considering all of these flower-adjacent events, Kate certainly looks the part.
