Katharine McPhee Claps Back At Her Husband's Critics By Posting A Bathing Suit Pic

People were quick to light David up in the comments, calling him out of touch.
Katharine replied with her own IG post telling people, basically, to CHILL.
Musician David Foster composed a bit of internet drama this week when he commented on his wife’s post-baby body.
David, 72, posted a photo of Katharine McPhee, 37, posing on the grass wearing a black bikini, which showed her incredibly fit physique. The controversy came with David’s caption, “What baby?”
(ICYMI, Katharine and David welcomed baby boy Rennie David Foster about 10 months ago in February 2021.)
People were quick to light David up in the comments, calling him out of touch and chastising him for putting extra pressure on his wife to achieve the perfect post-baby body. (Our society does enough on its own TYVM, sir.)
“So gross to post this. Let’s just continue to push this unhealthy narrative,” wrote one person. And another added, “Shallow objectification...can’t teach an old dog new tricks.”
While the women of the internet may be sharpening their pitchforks, Katharine, the subject of the photo herself, replied back with her own post telling people, basically, to CHILL.
“People freaking out about what my husband captioned seriously get a life... Stop being so offended by what people post who have zero impact on your life and move on,” she wrote in a part of her lengthy caption. Well, OK then!
The American Idol star shared her response with another bathing suit photo. “I’m sorry but we are not sorry...I’ve struggled with weight my whole 20s and 30. I’ve gone up and down 10 times over. Does that make you feel better?”
She added, “I lost this baby weight without dieting. Zero. Diets are the worst and I’ve had zero pressure from anyone. I’ve let [my] body do its thing and found a great workout.”
She closed out her response by quoting Ms. Taylor Swift, writing, “I cannot with this overly sensitive society right now. But as Taylor Swift said haters gonna hate 🤣 byyeeee.”
Heard that! If you ask me, the only comment worth reading is from Erin Foster, who is David’s daughter. “If I can accept my step mom looking like this, you certainly should be able to,” she wrote on Katherine’s post.
Say what you want, but the Fosters are a funny bunch.
