Katherine Ryan announces she’s joining Celebrity Gogglebox

Comedian and Taskmaster star Katherine Ryan has revealed she has signed on for the next series of Celebrity Gogglebox.
The star revealed the news in a new interview, confirming she will be giving her best opinions on the week's TV alongside husband Bobby Kootstra.
“It’s usually just the dogs who get to see us watch TV, so we’re excited to welcome viewers into our home as we decompress in our favourite spot – the sofa," she told The Sun.

“We’ve been huge Gogglebox fans for years and we are thrilled to be taking part.”
It comes after regular Celebrity Gogglebox star Babatunde Aléshé confirmed last month that he will be back on the sofa for the new series alongside friend and fellow comedian Mo Gilligan.
While Katherine will be joining the Gogglebox family, one reality show the star recently revealed she wouldn't do again is The Great British Bake Off.
"Something they don’t tell you is there are a lot of bees in the tent," she explained to Metro in March. "Because it’s outside and it’s so sweet in there. There’s lots of sugar and fondant, and lots of things that attract bees."

The comedian added: "It was fun, but I mean, I don’t know if I could do it again because I’m a little bit scared of the bees."
Meanwhile, last year Katherine and Bobby welcomed a baby girl called Fenna Grace Kootstra, who was born just before Christmas.
Bobby wrote at the time: "Mom is incredible! Proving her strength repeatedly through the relatively lengthy delivery at home. We are so blessed :)".
Gogglebox airs and streams on Friday nights at 9pm on Channel 4.
