Katie Price has said she is furious after being sent an energy bill for £18,000.

The reality TV star and mother-of-five - who was declared bankrupt in 2019 - said she was fuming with her energy company after the huge bill was issued following her latest meter check.

Price told the Go Love Yourself podcast: "They've come round and checked my b****y meters and then I've got an £18 grand bill. And then another one for £5 grand in one week."

She went on: "Then [we've] called them and they said, ‘Oh no she hasn’t got that.’

“So I said, 'Well why am I getting letters to say I have?' We’ve now set up direct debits for them so they can’t make another mistake and make sure they don't send me any more letters.

"They've p***ed me off."

The model and social media star also launched into a rant about estate agents, saying: "They just want their commission.

"Even renting now - if you want to go and rent somewhere they get loads of people around and they choose [who gets the property]. It's so different to back in the day. Luckily I dont have to do that."

Price lives in a nine-bedroom mock-Tudor mansion in Sussex she calls her "Mucky Mansion".

Her reality show about renovating the property was been confirmed to have been axed by Channel 4.

Katie Price leaves Lewes Crown Court, East Sussex, where she was sentenced to an 18-month community order with 150 hours of community service with an additional 20 hours for breach of a suspended sentence for driving matters. She was also ordered to pay £1,500 court costs, for breaching a restraining order. She recently revealed on her Katie Price Show podcast that the house was now too big for her family and she was thinking of renting it out.

Price said: "I’m still thinking of renting it, it’s just too big for me. I’m always up in Essex at the minute.

"[I want to] get something smaller. I don’t know. I just think this house gives me bad luck.

"It’s such a good family home but it is too big for me. It’s more of an excuse for the kids to make a mess."

In 2021, she was handed a repossession order on that property and has several notices on the deeds lodged at the Land Registry for failing to repay the money she owes.

Price was once said to be worth £40m. She now has debts totalling £3.2m, mostly to lenders for mortgages secured against her home.
