Reba McEntire has added a date in downtown Phoenix to her Reba: Live in Concert Tour. The country superstar is playing Footprint Center Thursday, March 30, with special guests Terri Clark and the Isaacs.

In a press release, McEntire said touring with Clark and the Isaacs and playing her first headlining show at New York City's Madison Square Garden is "just the extra icing on an already triple-layered, stuffed and filled, iced and frosted cake!"

Par-Tee Tour Golf Festival

The Par-Tee Tour Golf Festival will swing through Dobson Ranch Golf Course in Mesa on Saturday, Nov. 12.

The Par-Tee Tour was created to "level the green" and make the game as accessible to newbies as it is to the scratch golfer. It premiered in West Palm Beach, Florida earlier this year.

The all-day event will begin with a scramble tournament where teams of four players will compete for cash and prizes.

Contests will continue into evening, including long drive, straightest drive, closest to the pin, low gross/net and one low score, along with live art experiences and musical performances by Big Gigantic, Jayceeoh and more.

Guests who don't want to put a team together can enjoy the putting course, golfing dunk tanks, chip and putt challenges, long drive contests, celebrity guests, food and drink from local establishments and more.

Johnny Depp to join Jeff Beck onstage in Phoenix

Jeff Beck is bringing Johnny Depp to town in support of "18," an album-length collaboration with the actor who also plays guitar with Alice Cooper in Hollywood Vampires.

Beck and Depp will share a stage at the historic Celebrity Theatre on Tuesday, Nov. 1.

The tour will focus on the new release and explore Beck's legendary career through instrumentals like “You Know You Know,” “A Day in the Life” and “Brush with the Blues.”

In addition to Depp, the tour will feature Beck's current band: bassist Rhonda Smith, drummer Anika Nilles and keyboardist Robert Stevenson.

Beck and Depp met in 2016, bonding quickly over their shared interest in guitars and cars.

"18" is a mix of Depp originals and covers ranging from the Beach Boys to Killing Joke.

In a press release, Beck said, “We were going to call the album ‘Kitchen Sink’ because we threw everything in it. The only game plan we had was to play songs we like and see where they took us.”

The Who playing Phoenix for the first time since 2013

British rock legends the Who will bring the Who Hits Back! Tour to Ak-Chin Pavilion on  Sunday, Oct. 30, with special guests Mike Campbell and The Dirty Knobs.

This is the Who's first metro Phoenix concert since 2013.

Founding members Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend will be joined by guitarist/backup singer Simon Townshend (Pete's brother), keyboardist Loren Gold, second keyboardist Emily Marshall, bassist Jon Button, drummer Zak Starkey (Ringo's kid) and backing vocals by Billy Nicholls along with orchestra conductor Keith Levenson, lead violinist Katie Jacoby and lead cellist Audrey Snyder.

Fans can expect to hear the classics as well as songs from their most recent album, "Who."

In a review of the Who in Texas this year, the Dallas Morning News wrote, "Daltrey took flight in ‘We’re Not Gonna Take It,’ roaring and howling and whipping his mic cord through the air like he was lassoing cattle ... the show was a potent reminder of the timelessness of Townshend’s songs and the Who’s music.”

The Boston Herald said, "Townshend and Daltrey lit up the arena like mod kids electrifying a swinging London club while using their experience and age to imbue the music with added meaning, extra intensity.”

Seven-time Grammy winner Gladys Knight will play the Celebrity Theatre on Friday, Dec. 16.

John Petrucci at Celebrity Theatre

Danny Zelisko presents John Petrucci and an instrumental trio featuring former Dream Theater bandmate Mike Portnoy on drums and Dave Larue on bass Wednesday, Nov. 2 at the Celebrity Theatre.

This is Petrucci’s first headlining solo tour and the first time in 12 years that Petrucci and Portnoy will perform live together.

The 1975 U.S. tour hits Phoenix

British rockers the 1975 will bring their At Their Very Best North American Tour to Arizona Financial Theatre on Wednesday, Nov. 23.

This tour is in support of "Being Funny in a Foreign Language," an album due to be released on Friday, Oct. 14.

The 1975 were named NME’s Band of the Decade in 2020 after being crowned Best Group at the BRIT Awards in 2017 and 2019. Their latest album, 2020’s "Notes on a  Conditional Form," became their fourth consecutive release to top the U.K. charts.

Cory Wong at the Van Buren

VortiFest returns to the Sedona Airport

VortiFest returns to the Sedona Airport for a two-day celebration in the vortex of red rock country the weekend of Sept. 23-24, with alternative hip-hop legends Arrested Development and G. Love & Special Sauce topping the bill.

This marks the third Sedona VortiFest since it was founded in 2021. Puscifer playing Arizona twice this fall

Puscifer, the Arizona band featuring Maynard James Keenan, Mat Mitchell and Carina Round, extended their Existential Reckoning Tour, announcing two new dates in Arizona.

The Tucson show is October 20 at The Linda Ronstadt Music Hall and the Prescott show is November 22 at Yavapai College Performing Arts Center.

News of the dates arrives as they wrap their first trek in support of the 2020 album, a month-long outing during which Puscifer brought audiences their largest scale productions to date, performing at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, Brooklyn’s Kings Theater and Arizona Federal Theatre in downtown Phoenix. Rod Stewart reschedules Phoenix date

Due to production delays, Rod Stewart has rescheduled six shows at the start of his 2022 North American run, including a June performance in Phoenix at Footprint Center.

That show will now take place on Aug. 4, 2023.

While this delays the tour’s start, it also opens new routing in 2023 including a coast-to-coast Canadian tour.

In 2018, a somewhat reunited Smashing Pumpkins (everyone but D'arcy) launched their Shiny and Oh So Bright Tour in Glendale, and returned before the year was out on a tour celebrating their 30th anniversary.

Both shows were great.

The Alan Jackson concert originally scheduled to bring the Country Music Hall of Famer to Gila River Arena in 2020 has been rescheduled for Sept. 30.

This date is part of the Last Call: One More for the Road Tour, a farewell tour for Jackson, who's hitting the road for the first time since revealing a health diagnosis last fall.

David Gray White Ladder Tour

David Gray will bring a tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of "White Ladder" to the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Phoenix on Tuesday, Aug. 2.

The tour was originally planned for 2020, the 20th anniversary of his breakthrough album being picked up by Dave Matthews' label, ATO, and re-released.

It was originally released on Gray's own label, IHT, in 1998, so the album itself is 24 years old, but COVID-19 kept the English folk singer from celebrating the album that made him a global sensation until now. And "White Ladder" definitely earned itself a victory lap.

The Black Keys

The Black Keys will bring the Dropout Boogie Tour to Ak-Chin Pavilion on Monday, Oct. 10, with Band of Horses and The Velveteers.

The Black Keys last played Phoenix in November of 2019 at what was then called Talking Stick Resort Arena.

"Dropout Boogie" is the title of a 1970 reissue of the Captain Beefheart album "Safe as Milk," which includes Beefheart's cover of a song called “Grown So Ugly” by Louisiana blues singer Robert Pete Williams.

The Black Keys later did their own rendition of that song on “Rubber Factory” in 2004.

This tour is in support of "Delta Kream," an album that found the duo reclaiming their roots in the North Mississippi hill country blues they cut their teeth on in Akron, Ohio, long before they hit the mainstream with a more contemporary offshoot of the blues.

"Delta Kream" was featured in a Best of 2021 album list at azcentral.

Mother Mother at Arizona Federal Theatre

Canadian indie-rockers Mother Mother, who played a sold-out concert earlier this month at the Van Buren, have announced a date at Arizona Federal Theatre on Tuesday, Nov. 1.

Static-X's Rise Of The Machine Tour featuring Fear Factory, Dope, Mushroomhead and Twiztid has been moved to 2023.

The 42-date tour, celebrating the 20th anniversary of "Machine," their second album, will now begin on Feb. 25, 2023, in San Francisco, with a stop in downtown Phoenix on Tuesday, March 7, for a show at the Van Buren.

Steve Vai postpones tour for surgery

Steve Vai has postponed his tour of North America, including a Sunday, Jan. 30, date at the Celebrity Theatre, until fall as he undergoes surgery.

The first U.S. leg of leg of the tour will now begin on Wednesday, Sept. 28 in El Cajon, CA and wrap the first week of December.  The Celebrity Theatre show has been rescheduled for Sunday, Oct. 2.

All ticket and VIP purchases for the original date will be honored.

Approximately one year ago, Vai underwent shoulder surgery to repair an injury.  That procedure was successful, enabling him to record the upcoming studio album “Inviolate.”

In preparing for the tour, it became clear that a new injury had emerged, requiring another surgery.

In a press release, Vai said, “I’m gutted that we have to move this tour, but I also know it’s in the best interests for us and the fans that we do.”

Zac Brown Band Out in the Middle

The tour takes its name from a new Hanson album comprised of the brothers' three solo-led projects, to be released on Friday, May 20, as they mark 30 years of performing together.

Clannad farewell tour

Clannad's farewell tour brings the Irish folk-rock stars to Mesa Arts Center on Tuesday, Sept. 13, in support of "In a Lifetime," a career-spanning anthology that shares a name with a Bono duet released in 1986.

This is the second time the farewell tour has made a stop in metro Phoenix, having previously played Gila River Arena in January 2019, a nearly three-hour concert that struck a bittersweet balance between what amounts to a victory lap and an emotional acknowledgment that a lot of those fans would never see the man perform again.

This is John's 12th Phoenix concert. The first was on Sept. 17, 1971, at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

Chase Field has previously hosted John’s longtime touring partner Billy Joel, who performed there on March 9, 2019.

Justin Bieber Justice World Tour

Justin Bieber has again rescheduled his entire 2020 Tour, this time to 2022, due to COVID-19 restrictions varying by state.

The tour, with special guests Kehlani and Jaden Smith, was originally scheduled to hit State Farm Stadium in Glendale on June 5, 2020, and was moved to the much smaller Gila River Arena before being bumped to June 5, 2021, in response to the pandemic.

The star is now headed to Gila River Arena on Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2022, on the newly christened Justice World Tour.

It was originally called the Changes Tour in honor of the 2020 "Changes" album. But he's managed to release another album since then, topping Billboard's album chart in March with "Justice."

All tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates.  Ticketholders will receive an email from their ticket provider with event updates and options if they cannot make the 2022 date.

AJR OK Orchestra Tour

AJR brings the OK Orchestra Tour to a close at Ak-Chin Pavilion in Phoenix on Tuesday, June 21, 2022.

"OK Orchestra" took the indie-pop brother act to No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative and Rock Albums charts, marking their second consecutive album to debut at the top spot on both charts. It also claimed the No. 10 spot on the Billboard 200.
