Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom Just Low-Key Became Neighbors With Meghan Markle and Prince Harry

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are going all in on this new phase in their lives after welcoming daughter Daisy Dove Bloom in August. They've now reportedly purchased a huge new home in Montecito. 

Variety reports the house is worth $14.2 million, and if Montecito sounds familiar to you, there's a good reason. The town in Santa Barbara County is located about 80 miles west of Los Angeles, making it the perfect enclave for many Hollywood A-listers, including Oprah Winfrey and new residents Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. 

The Sussexes settled in the area after stepping down as senior working royals and living briefly in Canada, then Los Angeles proper. Perry and Bloom would certainly appear to have a lot in common with Markle and Prince Harry should they choose to step out for some double dates. They're all incredibly famous, (relatively) new parents, and have a ton of charitable passion projects they hold dear. Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom announced Daisy's arrival via UNICEF, and Markle and Prince Harry celebrated their son Archie's first birthday with a video for Save the Children. 

“We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter,” Bloom and Perry said via UNICEF's Instagram. 

Can you imagine the cuteness of Daisy and Archie playdates? We don't even know what Daisy looks like yet, but Bloom says she's basically a mini-me of both him and Perry. “My little mini-me, slash mini-my-mom, slash mini-Katy,” he said. “It was funny because when she first came out I was, ‘Oh, it’s me, it’s a mini-me!’ Then, fortunately, she got those Katy blues, which was perfect.” Archie is a pretty great blend of both his parents, as well, but we still think he's a little more Prince Harry at the moment. 

Future baby BFFs. We love it.
