Katy Perry's New Music Video Features Candy Cane Eyeliner & Christmas Tree Hair

It’s December, and if you can’t believe the holidays are here, please allow Katy Perry to prove it. Perry is known for being extra and always doing the absolute most with any and every beauty look, and she just did it again. In her music video for her latest song, "Cozy Little Christmas," the singer took us to the North Pole, where she also showed off her holiday-beauty looks, and let's just say, they are eye-catching.

Perry's new holiday-themed song is certainly a bop, but Perry's festive eye makeup looks, all created by makeup artist Anthony Nguyen, are the star of the show.

The video kicks off with candy cane-inspired eyeliner. To create the look, Nguyen painted red and white stripes on Perry's lids and applied thick winged liner to resemble everyone's favorite stocking stuffer, a candy cane. The whole thing was topped off with dramatic false lashes (a typical Katy Perry move), faux freckles, and a classic holiday-red lip.

The second look was my favorite: Perry's eyes were bedazzled in rhinestones, giving off a very icy vibe. The three-dimensional crystals started at her lid and worked up to her temples, making her a true ice queen (move over, Elsa).

Of course, Perry's hair was over the top too, and her hairstylist Iggy Rosales is to thank for that. Perry ended the music video wearing a sky-high updo shaped like (you guessed it) a Christmas tree. Don't act surprised: It is Katy Perry, after all.

I'm not too sure I would wear my hair in the shape of a Christmas tree, but I do feel very inspired by the eye looks. With a few pigmented liquid eyeliners (my favorite are the UZ eyeliners) and some jewels from Amazon, you'll be ready to rock the holiday season just like Katy.
