As vice president for student affairs, Zaremba will provide leadership for an extensive student affairs program, including oversight of academic advising, admissions, athletics, career and employment services, counseling, disability services, dual enrollment and early college students, enrollment services, financial aid, instructional assistance, tutoring, international students, lifelong learning programming, personal enrichment programming, registration, student code of conduct, student life, student retention, testing, Title IX matters, TRIO programs, veteran services and youth programming.

“I’m looking forward to using my 20-plus years of administrative experience to continue the important and valuable work of student affairs at KCC,” Zaremba said in the release. “I believe very much in the mission of KCC, the people we serve and the function of Student Affairs in the success of our students.”

Zaremba’s prior career at KCC includes positions as dean of student services, director of academic advising and student life and in admissions. Prior to KCC, Zaremba worked at Grand Valley State University in TRIO student support services, admissions and as a transfer student coordinator.

Zaremba earned her master of education in college student affairs and leadership and bachelor of science degree in sociology from Grand Valley State University.
