BRYAN SHAW: We warm up over the next few days gradually a couple of degrees each of those days. Until about Wednesday, where we are actually going to start off warm in the morning and then crash pretty hard. And there will be the chance for some rain changing to mixed, and maybe even a little bit of snow. 39 right now in Pittsburgh. Cloudy skies, windchill feeling a couple degrees colder at about 36 with those winds out of the northwest. Those northwest winds are mainly going to keep that cloud cover around through the majority of today.
You see that a lot of moisture coming in off the Great Lakes and just that overall flow bringing in that cloud cover to western Pennsylvania. So that's going to stick around. It will gradually clear out throughout the day. There is some rain to the West, that's mainly going to stay to our South until Sunday afternoon, Sunday evening where we may catch a couple of rain showers. So here's what I'm talking about.
Pretty overcast up until about lunchtime, then we start to actually see a little bit of clearing for the afternoon and evening hours to partly cloudy to partly sunny skies. So there will be some sunshine. Temperatures stay a little chilly. The overall pattern is for us to warm up for the next few days. But look at this very cold air to the West. That's going to be heading in as we get to the middle part of the week. So cold front on the way, that moves through, and that's going to drop our temperatures.
And you just see that temperature crash through Wednesday and Thursday. Luckily it rebounds pretty fast. It's just going to be those two days where it's a little bit lousy in there for a while with those rain chances and that mix chance for Wednesday and Thursday. Cloudy skies through much of today. A little bit of sunshine here and there. Temperatures are going to be in the low 50s for our highs. It's about 10 degrees below average for this time of year.
We'll start to see some clearing later on into the day, specifically for those northern spots. It's mainly because of a wind shift. Once those winds shift more out of the West instead of Northwest, we lose that lake effect. We lose that cloud cover, and we don't bring in as much of that moisture. Temperatures are going to be in the mid to upper 50s for tomorrow, with a couple of spots into the low 60s for the highs. Then here comes those rain showers moving in the afternoon and evenings. It's either hit or miss.
They moves through pretty quickly. And then we mainly do start to dry out for Monday as well. Today, we're going to be in the mid to low 50s. We're gradually clearing out. That's cool for this time of year. Partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies for tonight. Temperatures are going to be in the upper 30s. So very similar temperatures to what we actually had for this morning. So you can just take this morning's feel and apply it to tomorrow.
Low 60s on Sunday, Monday mid 60s. Even better for us on Tuesday, a beautiful day with some sunshine and warm temperatures. But we're going to try and fit all the seasons into just a couple of days. And that's what we do from Tuesday to Wednesday. We crash pretty hard. That high of 50, that's in the morning will fall throughout the day. Go from rain to mix. Might still have some morning mix or snow on Thursday. We rebound back into the mid 40s. Then we warm back up into the low 60s on Friday with mostly sunny skies.
