Keansburg man charged with killing Woodbridge woman

A 46-year-old Keansburg man has been charged with killing a 39-year-old Woodbridge woman, the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office announced.

Kevin Bacon was arrested Thursday and charged with one count of murder in the death of April Duncza, the Prosecutor’s Office said.

Police received a call around 4:49 p.m. Wednesday requesting a welfare check at a Paul Street residence in the Fords section of Woodbridge, according to the Prosecutor’s Office, where officers found Duncza with serious head trauma. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation determined Bacon had a previous relationship with Duncza and the alleged crime was not a random act, the Prosecutor’s Office said.
