  • John Wick: Chapter 4 star Keanu Reeves got unique gifts for the film's epic stunt team.

  • Each member of the team got a t-shirt designating how many times each stunt performer "died" in the film.

  • Reeves also gifted his personal stunt team Rolex watches.

Much like the world of assassins in the John Wick franchise, the subculture of action cinema goes far deeper than most of us realize, and a lot of it runs on reputation. For example, the guy behind the prosthetic face of the villainous Killa in John Wick: Chapter 4? Casual filmgoers might not know him, but action fans instantly recognized Scott Adkins, a martial arts star with such a reputation for being "the ultimate action star" that there's an entire podcast dedicated to his career.

But Adkins is hardly the only action movie actor whose reputation precedes them. Keanu Reeves has long been known for his kindness toward the crews of the films he's worked on. A now-viral video depicted Reeves actually helping the crew carry equipment in-between setups during the shoot for John Wick: Chapter 4, and it turns out he also took care of the crew after the shoot, with a unique wrap gift.

An action movie as elaborate John Wick: Chapter 4 requires a sizable stunt team, and as The New York Times reported, Reeves wanted to ensure that the crew not only received a token of his gratitude, but got a unique wrap gift especially for them, too.

The solution? Every one of John Wick: Chapter 4's stunt performers was gifted a T-shirt stating the number of times they were "killed" over the course of the film. Some of the stunt team had reportedly performed more than 20 such deaths, all of which were commemorated on their wrap gift.

Reeves also took care of his personal stunt team after the film, and made sure to keep them in style. As noted by Insider, Reeves gifted stuntmen Jeremy Marinas, Li Qiang, Bruce Lee Concepcion, and Dave Camarillo (who, with Reeves, have the nickname the John Wick Five) a Rolex Submariner watch with a personalized message on the back.
