Keanu Reeves and girlfriend Alexandra Grant make their red carpet debut
Keanu Reeves held hands with girlfriend Alexandra Grant as the couple made their first joint red carpet appearance at the LACMA Art and Film Gala in Los Angeles.
The actor, 55, and the artist, 46, happily posed for the cameras on the blue carpet at the annual event.
Reeves looked smart in a black three-piece suit while Grant wore a blue Grecian-style dress with embellished detailing at the waist.
The star has kept his relationship status out of the public eye for the past two decades.
Grant is an American artist based in Los Angeles, who has studied at Swarthmore College and the California College of Arts, and is known for her collaborations with authors and works inspired by literature.
He and Grant are thought to have met in 2009 and have worked together on a series of artistic projects.
Grant previously collaborated with the actor on the books Ode To Happiness and Shadows, providing drawings which featured alongside text written by the Point Break star.
They also launched X Artists’ Books, a publishing imprint dedicated to “thoughtful, high quality, artist-centered books that fit within and between genres,” in 2017.
Their red carpet debut comes after they were photographed arm in arm in Los Angeles last month.

The actor has also previously featured in images shared to Grant’s Instagram account, including a sweet snap to celebrate the launch of Shadows in 2016.
Reeves was previously in a long-term relationship with actress Jennifer Syme throughout most of the 90s.
The couple faced tragedy when their daughter Ava was stillborn at eight months in 1999. Syme died in 2001 in a car accident.
