Jensen Beach d. John Carroll Catholic 25-8, 25-13, 25-10: Lauren Duke had six kills, six digs and four aces to pace the Falcons (2-0). Lindsay Walch had seven kills and four aces, Catherine Hamilton had five aces and Raegan Richardson added 16 assists and five kills for Jensen Beach.

Martin County d. Pine School 25-12, 25-12, 25-12: Emelia Glover and Julia Glasco each had eight kills to lead the Tigers (1-0) to a season-opening win. Caragh Francello had five digs and four aces and Layali Ibrahim totaled 17 assists and four aces for Martin County.

Treasure Coast d. Lincoln Park Academy 25-8, 25-20, 25-16: Jenna Simmons had 13 kills and eight digs to lead the Titans (2-0) in the win. Chloe Miller had six kills, Valerie Ketchum added five kills, Sara Reichard collected 12 digs and four aces and Maria Caltabiano totaled 18 assists for Treasure Coast.

Martin County 6, Lincoln Park Academy 0: Emilia Koehler bowled a 176 game and Emily McLaughlin added a 161 game to lead the way for the Tigers.

Fort Pierce Central d. South Fork 22-25, 23-25, 25-16, 25-17: Luyeisy Marquez-Moreno had 24 kills and 11 digs to help the Cobras (2-0) rally from two sets down to surge to a road victory.

Sydney Corbett had 17 kills and six digs, Kailani Zezas added 10 kills and 10 digs, Kadiann Perry had three kills and three blocks, Ivy Cooper collected 27 digs and eight assists and Aslyn Bass finished the match with 46 assists and six digs for Fort Pierce Central, who had to rally from a 4-1 hole in the deciding fifth set.

Alli Bowser had 14 kills and 22 digs, Taylor Clarke had seven kills, Marley Navaretta had 20 digs and Emmie Love totaled 29 assists and 17 digs in the loss for the Bulldogs (1-2).

Treasure Coast d. Somerset College Prep 28-26, 25-19, 22-25, 25-13: Jenna Simmons totaled 18 kills to lead the Titans (1-0) to a season-opening win. Chloe Miller added nine kills, Valerie Ketchum had eight kills, Maria Caltabiano had 12 assists and Nixa Arbelo had 10 assists for Treasure Coast.

Vero cross country teams sweep Centennial XC Invite

Vero Beach's boys and girls cross country programs were victorious Wednesday at the Centennial XC Invite with four boys finishing in the top 10 and three girls in the top 10.

Jensen Beach senior Nicholas Colbert was the overall winner for the boys with a time of 16:19.18 for the Falcons.

Lincoln Park Academy sophomore Jacey Lane was the winner for the girls race with a time of 20:09.35.

Sebastian River's boys and girls teams each finished as the runner-up in the team standings with four boys in the top 10 and three girls in the top 10.

Fort Pierce Central d. Viera 25-21, 22-25, 25-18, 20-25, 15-10: Luyeisy Marquez-Moreno totaled 22 kills, 11 digs and five blocks to lead the Cobras (1-0) to a season-opening win. Marley Navaretta had 14 digs and crossed 1,000 career digs and also set the new school record for South Fork during the match. Kailey Armbruster had 10 digs and Lindsey Scammell added four kills.

Jupiter d. Centennial 27-25, 25-12, 27-25: Shayla Henry had 10 kills and six digs to lead the Eagles in the loss. Zion Boakai had five kills and five blocks, Isabel Narbutus had four kills and Christina Capozzi had 12 assists and six digs for Centennial.
