Saturday's results

Jensen Beach cross country seniors Nicholas Colbert and Justin Cannata finished first and second for the fourth time this season at Saturday morning’s Sebastian River Shark Invitational.

Colbert ran 16:15.25, his second-fastest time of the season to win his fifth race in five attempts.

Cannata ran 16:59.68 and was followed by Sebastian River’s Colton Russano and Caleb Wilkinson, who led the Sharks to the team title.

Russano ran 17:08.50 and Wilkinson was right behind with a time of 17:18.55 pacing the Sharks, who topped runner-up Holy Trinity.

New Smyrna Beach senior Olivia Gardner set the pace in the girls' race with a personal best time of 19:27.31 for the Barracudas, who also won the team title.

Martin County's Madison Movchuk ran second with a time of 21:20.14 and Pine School's Amelie Galbraith was third with a time of 21:24.31.

Sebastian River's Lana Kish finished in fourth for the Sharks, running a time of 21:32.27 and led the team to a runner-up finish.

At the Pre-State Invitational in Tallahassee, Vero Beach sophomore Kenan Willard smashed his personal best with a time of 16:01.8 to finish fifth in the Boys 5K Select race.

Vero Beach junior Sage Morrow ran 16:48.2 to take 29th overall.

South Fork junior Addison Boyer finished 17th in the girls’ 5K Elite Race running a time of 18:31.4.

South Fork freshman Emerson Brinn ran a personal best time of 19:06.2 to finish third in the girls 5K Select Race.
