Keith Urban started off his evening so well, at the Golden Globes 2019.

Arriving on the arm of his dazzling, award-winning wife Nicole Kidman, he was all smiles as he walked the red carpet.

Little did he know of the horrors awaiting him when he was sat at his award ceremony dinner table.

The 51-year-old country singer and producer strolled into the 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards with not a care in the world, taking his place at the front, on a table next to Big Lebowski actor Jeff Bridges.

When suddenly, during a comedy interlude led by the show's hosts Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg, 'doctors' dressed in white lab coats surged out from back stage and dispersed themselves amongst the celebrity crowd, offering the guests a 'flu shot.'

While some of the celebrities were game for the lark, others weren't so convinced. But the award for best reaction was quickly bestowed on Urban, who appeared to recoil in abject horror at the approaching needles.

Many Twitter users took to the platform to express similar horror that the Globes guests should have been rushed with needles, while others found amusement in Urban's clear discomfort.

Here, if you watch the videos, you'll spot the reaction on Keith Urban's face that had everyone talking.

It soon became a whole mood:
