Kelly Clarkson bemoans bad tabloid pic, laughs off rumors of feud with Carrie Underwood

Kelly Clarkson is laughing off tabloid rumors that she's feuding with fellow "American Idol" alum Carrie Underwood, but she does have beef with someone.

The "Voice" coach took to Twitter Thursday to address the cover of Star magazine, which features pictures of both Clarkson and Underwood. "Secret Feud Explodes," the headline reads in big yellow letters, promising the scoop on "how the bad blood started."

"I officially have a feud (with) whoever used this pic! At least give me a good pic if y’all are gonna be lying is all I’m sayin,'" Clarkson tweeted, adding a crying laughing emoji.

The "Since U Been Gone" singer, 36, said that someone sent her a picture of the magazine, instantly questioning the judgement of whoever selected the cover shots.

"I’m like why does she get the good pic & I have the worst expression I’ve ever made w/zero muscles being used in my face ha!" Clarkson quipped.

A fan offered a logical explanation: "Carrie didn't get the bad pic because there is no bad pic of Carrie." Clarkson replied, "Hahaha touché well, I have PLENTY of rough ones ha! But I guess it builds character and keeps me humble this is what I tell myself."

Both singers won their respective seasons of "American Idol" – Clarkson in 2002 during the inaugural season and Underwood, 36, on Season 4 in 2005. They are considered two of the most successful artists to come out of the show.
