Kelly Clarkson Just Showed Off a Dramatic New Look on Her Talk Show

We're about to see much more of Kelly Clarkson when The Voice returns for season 23. The superstar is resuming her spot in the coach's chair alongside Blake Shelton, Chance the Rapper, and Niall Horan. This year, Kelly's former stepmother-in-law, Reba McEntire, is joining the show as a mega mentor. As we wait for the March 6 premiere, we're always happy to check in with Kelly on her daily talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show.

Kelly mixed things up on a recent episode by inviting Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds for a special Songs & Stories segment. Kelly and the 63-year-old singer-songwriter-producer teamed up to perform several of his hits, including "Take a Bow," "Water Runs Dry," and "Exhale (Shoop Shoop)."

Kelly revealed that Babyface wrote one of her first songs, "Thankful," which appeared on her 2003 debut album. She shared a video from set and said, "This is an incredible show. I love him so much, and the fact that he's so humble and such a legend is a lesson for us all."

Kelly switched up her typical style for this episode and wore a printed black-and-brown dress with an oversize belt and a long velvet duster (for a similar look, try this velvet cardigan). She finished off the look with layered necklaces, gold hoop earrings, a loose updo, and a white manicure.
