Kellyanne Conway and daughter Claudia appear to be getting along, at least for now.

The former senior adviser to President Donald Trump appeared on “American Idol” Sunday night to congratulate the 16-year-old on making it to the next round, but not without trying to steal some of the spotlight for herself with a pitchy version of Alicia Keys’ “This Girl is on Fire.”

Claudia and her newly dyed brunette hair impressed judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan with Bishop Briggs’s “River” during her Genre Challenge performance for Hollywood Week, at least enough to move her on to the next round.

Host Ryan Seacrest did manage to get in a little dig beforehand though, reminding the audience about the “fundamental” sanctity of voting to “American Idol.”

A week earlier, Perry had urged the New Jersey high school student to “calm the storm that is around you,” a not-so-subtle nod to Conway’s TikTok stardom and the drama around that.

Kellyanne Conway, 54, quit the White House in September to provide “less drama, more mama” for her children and husband, Lincoln Project co-founder George Conway.

In January, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office opened an investigation after a topless photo of Claudia appeared on Kellyanne’s Twitter Fleets.

Claudia initially blamed her mother, then backtracked and said she thought the account was hacked.
