West Liberty University track and field standout Kelsi Hulit was voted onto the 2022 NCAA Division II Academic All-District® 2 Track and Field/Cross Country Team.

Selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), the 2022 Academic All-District® Teams recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined achievements on the field and in the classroom.

A senior Speech Pathology and Audiology major from Malvern, with an impressive 3.82 cumulative GPA, Hulit put an exclamation point on another spectacular year by qualifying for the NCAA D2 Nationals in the discus – WLU's first national track and field qualifier in six years.

A 2-time All-Region selection, Hulit swept the shot and discus events at this year's MEC Outdoor Championship meet and was the shot and weight throw champion at the MEC Indoor Championships. In the outdoor season, she ranked No. 2 regionally and 15th nationally in the discus while also posting Top 20 regional numbers in the shot and hammer. Hulit has been named to multiple MEC All-Academic Teams and is also a 2-time USTFCCCA National Scholar-Athlete.

The 2022 Academic All-District® 2 Track and Field/Cross Country Teams include student-athletes from the Mountain East Conference (MEC), Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) and Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) along with independents Bluefield State and Salem (W.Va.).

As first-team Academic All-District® selections, Hulit automatically advance to the ballot for the 2022 NCAA Division II Academic All-America® Track and Field/Cross Country Team. The 2022 NCAA Division II Academic All-America® Track and Field/Cross Country Teams will be announced in June.
