Actor Ken Jeong has been officially revealed as a cast member of the upcoming comedy “Tiger Mom.”

Jeong joins Zhang Jingchu, Michelle Krusiec and “Riverdale” actor Lochlyn Munro in the film helmed by filmmaker Shawn Chou.

“This film has been an incredibly personal journey for me,” Chou was quoted as saying. “I approached many challenging childhood memories, and how it influenced my parenting now that I’m a father. It is a comedic take on the cultural stereotype of the Tiger Mom, but underneath it’s a universal story about how a disconnected family must find each other again.”

Jingchu plays first-generation Chinese American mother Marilyn Khu, who is forced to enroll her unruly children in a disciplinary school called Tiger Academy.

Jeong plays Mrs. Khu’s husband, Jimmy Khu, while Krusiec plays strict Tiger Academy instructor Suki Lai.

The film, which recently wrapped up production in Langley, British Columbia, is produced by Impossible Dream Entertainment, Storyoscopic Films, Big Picture Content and Crossroad. The film also has Chinese financial support, including Huacheng Film and Beijing Origin Pictures.
