Kendall Jenner's 'brave' announcement of having acne underwhelms Twitter

Twitter seems underwhelmed by Kendall Jenner's big announcement.

Matriarch Kris Jenner teased big news from her daughter on Instagram Saturday by praising the supermodel "for being so brave and vulnerable." She described it as Jenner's "most raw story" yet and said "be prepared to be moved."

The next day, Jenner opened up about her battle with acne and revealed her new partnership with skin care company Proactiv, a year after the reality star's acne was visible on the Golden Globes red carpet.

"I remember going online and seeing all the horrible things people were saying about me and my skin," Jenner said in a commercial for Proactiv, which aired during the Golden Globes red carpet show. "I felt so good (that night) that I forgot that I had bad skin."

Let's just say social media users were not moved by Jenner's revelation.

@Angelbabys tweeted, "Umm..... was that the announcement Kendall was gonna make.... an endorsement deal?"

@Glossydebut pointed out that many people battle acne: "I can’t breathe kendall brave announcement was that she has acne as if we all don’t."

User @Zaynilla described the build-up as "dramatic." "Kendall jenner really set up an entire dramatic scheduled announcement just to reveal that she has pimples," she tweeted.
