Kendall Jenner didn't want to be in the Kardashian's Christmas photo

The Victoria's Secret supermodel thought the Kardashian-Jenner Christmas-card photo shoot would be cuter with just the moms and their babies.

This year, the Kardashians surprised fans by dropping another Christmas family photo, but the real surprise was who wasn't in the shoot.

Shortly after Kim and Khloe Kardashian uploaded the family photo to their Instagram accounts, people quickly took notice of a special someone who was missing. What happened to Kendall Jenner?

Fans flooded the comment section of 34-year-old Khloe Kardashian's post, asking where the eldest Jenner child was.

"Why poor Kenny? She was at the shoot and she chose not to be in the picture because she thought it was cuter that it was just the babies and the mommies," Khloe Kardashian responded to a fan. Kylie Jenner, 21, and her baby, Stormi Webster, were in the shot.

Kim Kardashian, 38, took to Twitter to explain the absence of the 23-year-old Victoria's Secret model along with another missing family members.

"Kendall and my mom rushed to a meeting after this shoot, so this is what we have! As many of us as possible! From our family to yours Merry Christmas," she explained. "This year we waited until the last minute to do a card.

"Schedules were changing, my husband was in and out of town. But the day of this card last minute realized we were all together so we had all of our kids come meet us," Kim Kardashian wrote.

Perhaps we should consider ourselves lucky to have even a portion of the Kardashian and Jenner clan in a Christmas photo this holiday season given the drama surrounding last year's photo shoot.

in 2017, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian had a heated argument over scheduling regarding the family's annual Christmas card shoot, and it didn't look like they had any plans to try additional holiday card photos in the future.
