Kendall Jenner is out here doing just fine after her split with Ben Simmons
Breakups are hard to handle, unless - of course - you're Kendall Jenner and can wash that man right outta your hair with a swanky trip to Cannes.
Reports surfaced last week that all your hopes of Kendall Jenner and Ben Simmons being the next Keeping Up With The Kardashians wedding are now dashed, as the couple split up.
An insider at Page Six suggested the romance was over after it "ran its course", with PEOPLE adding that Ben and Kendall are "on a break" while Kendall enjoys "spending time with her friends and back to being in fun mode".
And that, it seems, she's doing - if her latest Instagram story is anything to go by. Kendall posted a picture of herself quite literally loving life on a yacht in Monaco, glass in hand, with blue skies in the background. No rain clouds dampening her parade.
Kendall flew to Cannes to attend the amfAR Gala, which raises money for research into a cure for HIV. This year's gala was the 26th annual event, and raised a casual $15 million for the important cause. Held in Hôtel du Cap on Thursday night (23 May), Mariah Carey, Dua Lipa, Charli XCX and more performed, so Kendall was in pretty good company.
The news of Kendall and Ben's alleged split came as quite a shock, considering she spoke recently to Vogue about her hopes to get engaged to Ben "one day".
Speaking to the magazine about why she keeps her relationships out of the public eye, Kendall said: "I'm very young and right now I feel like relationships aren't always super-certain and I don't want to bring too much attention to something if you don't really know long term [what it's going to be]."
When asked about the possibility that she might get engaged soon, she added, "Maybe. Definitely not now, but maybe one day."
Ben and Kendall briefly split in September last year, after being first linked at the beginning of summer 2018. They rekindled their romance and got back together in January 2019, however, so who knows - maybe Kendall really is just having a nice time in Cannes and things will resume as normal when she gets home to LA.
