Up until now, Kendall Jenner has generally kept her romantic relationships as out of the limelight as possible, not featuring them on her social media. But according to Entertainment Tonight, Jenner's NBA boyfriend Devin Booker has really changed things for her. Jenner's decision to go Instagram official with him on Valentine's Day was just underscoring what already happened privately: Their causal relationship became more serious.

As a source explained to the outlet, "Kendall was ready to take her relationship with Devin to a more public level and get rid of any unnecessary speculation in the media. She felt ready to share a bit more than she has in the past when she posted the photo of them on Valentine's Day."

"Their relationship has gotten more serious, and Devin is really laid back and not all about fame or being in the spotlight all the time, which Kendall really likes," the source added. "He makes her feel comfortable and safe and he's super respectful, which are all qualities she loves."

Entertainment Tonight last ran an update about Jenner and Booker at the beginning of February. Then, a source informed the outlet that the two were still together but weren't putting any pressure on their relationship.

Jenner and Booker are "still dating and it works because they keep it simple," the source said. "There aren’t any huge expectations or crazy commitments on either side. They have gotten a lot closer, but Kendall’s schedule is particularly super busy and Devin is very understanding of that."

Jenner spoke to Hailey Bieber back in February 2019 on her Zaza World Radio show about why she kept her relationships private and how she loses interest in people easily. "I know when I’m off it, and I get off it really easy," Jenner said, via Entertainment Tonight. "But it’s not just for no reason. Someone has to do something to make me off it. I think that especially because of the lifestyle that I live everything is so magnified and everyone wants to know things, especially about your love life. A lot of the relationships that I’m in, I’m in it, and I’m in it with that one person and I’m a very loyal person once I’m fully in it.”

She added that because there's no guarantee her relationships will be long lived, she isn't interested in sharing them publicly. "I don’t want to let the world have their opinion on something and let them fully into something if I don’t even know what’s gonna end up happening in the next couple months because it’s something I’m going to have to explain,” she explained. "The amount of times I see people together for a couple months and they’re together so hard core and they show it and they flex it everywhere and a couple months later they break up or something happens. They have to explain themselves to everyone. I don’t want to do all of that unless I’m completely certain in a relationship or it’s been a while."
