Kenneth Meadows and Gabe Rivera had 18.45 pounds and also big bass with a 5.80 pounder to win the Happy Hookers Bass Club tournament Aug. 6 on the Winter Haven South Chain. Brandon Robinson and Kevin McSwain took second place with 15 pounds. Shorty Carter and Roger Weigel placed third with 12.80 pounds.

Eric Tilson had 31.34 pounds to win first place during the Toho Marine Elite One Man Tour tournament Aug. 6 on the Kissimmee Chain. Chris Maxwell took second place with 23.56 pounds and also had big bass with a 7.32 pounder. Steve Coleman was third with 17.66 pounds.

Scott Daley had 18.63 pounds to win first place during Winter Haven Lunker Lovers’ tournament Aug. 7 on the Kissimmee Chain. John Dial was second with 18.49 pounds. Steve Hunt was third with 15.90 pounds. Emmett Nott was fourth with 12.52 pounds. Robert Kimbrough had big bass with a 6.55 pounder.

Erik Tilson and Brad Renner had 16.39 pounds and also big bass with a 5.77 pounder to win the Thursday Night Open Series tournament Aug. 4 on Lake Alfred. Mark Murphy and Jeremy Scarborough took second place with 14.49 pounds. Terry Pierce and Trammell Vickers placed third with 10.31 pounds.

Kyle Wieczorek and Greg Jones had 21.77 pounds to win the Xtreme Bass Series Istokpoga Division tournament Aug. 7 on Lake Istokpoga. Chris Crow and Justin Ladosa took second place with 16.64 pounds and also big bass with a 6.49 pounder. Jon Lanier and Eric Harris took third place with 15.83 pounds.

Jake Simmons and Ricky Elms had 17.60 pounds to win the Country Boys Fishing LLC Sunday Open Series tournament Aug. 7 on Lake Parker. Terry Pierce and Trammel Vickers took second place with 10.45 pounds. Brock James and Joshua Dunn placed third with 9.60 pounds and also had big bass with a 4.75 pounder.

Daniel Garcia and Calvin Croft had 15.15 pounds and also big bass with a 6.30 pounder to win to win the Country Boys Fishing LLC “Monday Nighter” tournament Aug. 8 on Lake Ariana. Sayge Woodham and Billy Woodham took second place with 9.75 pounds. Kenneth Meadows and Nicholas Knaack placed third with 9.40 pounds.

The next Thursday Night Open Series tournament is Aug. 11 on Lake Hancock. Time is from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sign-ups are at the ramp only and will be cut off at 5:50 p.m. Entry fee is $30 per boat, no more than two people per boat. For more info, contact Rick Combee at 863-860-3916.

The next MacDill Bass Busters tournament will be their make-up Lake Kissimmee tournament on Aug. 13 out of the Shady Oaks Park Ramp. This is the third of three, one day tournaments to be held throughout the year and will conclude with the two-day Bonfire Shootout tournament in November.
