Kent State cruises past fading Bowling Green for MAC men's basketball win

Malique Jacobs scored 19 points and the Kent State men's basketball team closed out its regular season road schedule with a 79-69 Mid-American Conference win at Bowling Green on Saturday night.

The win helped the Golden Flashes (23-6, 13-3) bounce back from a 12-point loss Tuesday at Ball State.

Jacobs added six rebounds and five assists for Kent State. Sincere Carry chipped in 18 points, six rebounds and seven assists and sophomore guard Jalen Sullinger contributed 14 points.

Chandler Turner and Samari Curtis each scored 11 points and Kaden Metheny 10 for the Falcons (10-19, 4-12), who have lost nine consecutive games.
