Kent State men's basketball visits Cleveland State for first meeting in three years

Records: Kent State is 6-3 following a 73-66 loss at Gonzaga on Monday. Cleveland State is 6-4 after a 61-42 loss at St. Bonaventure on Wednesday.

The coaches: Rob Senderoff is 225-142 in his 12th season at Kent State. Daniyal Robinson is in his first season at Cleveland State.

Series history: Kent State leads 31-23 but this is the first meeting since Dec. 7, 2019, an 81-59 win by the Golden Flashes. The last time the teams played at the Wolstein Center, Kent State won 83-79. The Golden Flashes have won the last five meetings and haven’t lost in Cleveland since 2010.
