A Kentucky actor will appear alongside a star from "The Dukes of Hazzard" in a movie musical coming to theaters in Louisville.

Caroline Clay of Greenup County is featured in "The Confession," a musical and "family faith picture" set to play in several theaters around Louisville next week, according to a release from the Kentucky Outdoor Press Association. The production follows Katie Lapp, an Amish girl played by Clay who sets out to find her birth mother after she learns she was adopted.

"What unfolds is a funny, drama-laced adventure that will keep you on the edge of your seat," the release said.

Clay is featured in the movie alongside John Schneider, who played Bo Duke in "The Dukes of Hazzard" television series. "The Confession" also stars comedian Chonda Pierce, who plays a domestic helper as the "comic relief," the release said.

The show will premiere in select theatres across the nation Monday, the release said. Louisville will show "The Confession" at the AMC Stonybrook at 2745 S. Hurstborne Parkway and the Cinemark Tinseltown USA at 4400 Towne Center Drive. The musical will also be shown in Southern Indiana at the Regal New Albany at 300 Professional Court.
