Kentucky governor race too close to call

With 98 percent of precincts reporting, the governor's race in Kentucky is too close to call.

Andy Beshear, the state's Democratic attorney general, has 49.5 percent of the vote, giving him an edge over incumbent Republican Gov. Matt Bevin, who has 48.5 percent. Beshear leads by about 14,000 votes.

Bevin is one of the least popular governors in the United States, due to his cutting of government services and treatment of teachers and protesters. Returns show that he lost support in many of the same districts that he won during his last election.
