Kentucky high school football: Highlands rises in 5A poll after Covington Catholic win
Highlands rose to fifth place in Class 5A in this week's Associated Press high school football polls after beating Covington Catholic last week. Highlands won 32-21 at CovCath, breaking a nine-game losing streak to the Colonels and can win the District 5 championship by beating Cooper this Friday in Fort Thomas.
Seven Northern Kentucky teams are ranked this week, including three in Class 2A.
