Kern County Public Health launches year-long campaign to empower people ‘one heart at a time’

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Kern County Public Health is launching another year-long health education and awareness campaign for 2024.

The campaign, titled “A Healthier Kern – One Heart at a Time,” will focus on the top 10 health-related challenges, and how educating and empowering people “one heart at a time” can help build a healthier community.

The community will also be able to share their healthy living stories, which will then be featured on billboards, social media and public service announcements.
