Kerry Katona: My daughter copied late ex-husband by spitting in my face

Kerry Katona has claimed her youngest child Dylan-Jorge used to spit at her after watching her ex-husband George Kay regularly do the same thing.
A professional rugby league player, Kay died from a cocaine overdose in 2019. Last year, former Atomic Kitten star Katona revealed he had inflicted years of physical and emotional torment on her.

Joining this week's episode of The Matt Haycox Show, Katona opened up about the horrific dynamic within the family home before their split in 2015.
"I still get scared talking about George," she said. "And I'm so angry that he died and just left.
"He wanted to kidnap DJ, inject her with heroin and then kill her. And then kill himself."
The late sportsman would punch Katona and spit in her face, the singer said, which influenced their young daughter's own behaviour.
"She didn't know any different," the mother-of-five told Haycox, adding that she will "never forgive" herself for allowing her children to grow up in a violent environment.
"They never witnessed anything... but they see the black eyes. It's something I'm struggling to forgive myself for, bringing him into their lives. Because of the trauma he's caused to them as well."

Katona first spoke of Kay's threatening tendencies last October, revealing that she had no idea where he was buried.
"George has such a hold on me, even in death," she told OK! Magazine. "I still feel scared he's going to get me. He was so manipulative and calculated.
"If I knew where his grave was, I would 100% take DJ to visit him. I could cry just at the thought of DJ stood at his grave.
"His family didn't even give me any of his ashes for DJ. I asked them so many times and I just never heard from them.
"I will never forgive them for that."
