DREW SILVA: If you've been playing fantasy baseball over the last three or four years, you've probably been burned at some point by Keston Hiura. He had a great rookie season in Milwaukee in 2019 before stumbling to a 192 batting average and 640 OPS in 443 plate appearances between 2020 and 2021.

There were many demotions, and promotions, and stops, and starts, along the way, and he's still a guy without a position because of his poor defensive ratings. But the Brewers need offense right now as they watch the NL Central and NL wild card races slip by. And Hiura is providing offense.

Over his last 69 Major League plate appearances dating back to the beginning of July, the 26-year-old former top prospect has posted a 10.33 OPS with 7 home runs in 21 games. He has 5 home runs in 14 games played in August.

Hiura should be something close to an everyday player moving into September, given the situation that the Brew Crew are in. And it's a situation that, again, looks favorable in all applicable fantasy leagues.
