'Yellowstone' star Kevin Costner to headline Homestead festival in Columbia, Tennessee
This summer, Kevin Costner will trade Dutton Ranch for a 100-acre farm in Columbia, Tenn. — at least for the weekend.
The "Yellowstone" star and his band, Modern West, will headline the Homestead Festival, which takes place June 3 and 4 in Columbia.
Held on the property of country artist, author and TV host Rory Feek, the festival will bring together musicians and speakers from the "homesteading community," including Dr. Temple Grandin and Joel Salatin.
Other booked performers include bluegrass family band and Opry members The Isaacs, Jimmy Fortune and Brotherly Love (Bradley Walker, Mike Rogers, Jimmy Fortune, and Ben Isaacs).
Classes and lectures will take place under multiple tents during the day, with music following in the evening. Topics will vary from "growing and preserving your own food, to keeping bees or baby chicks, to home birth and home-schooling."
In a press release, Feek says speakers will share "their vast experience of learning to be more self-sustaining and living closer to the land, which I think are very important things that aren’t being passed down to future generations the way they used to be, especially with the struggles we are all facing in the world today."
Weekend passes are on sale now: $295 for general admission, $495 for V.I.P.
Admission is free for kids 4 and under, $145 for ages 5-10. No single day tickets are available.

Costner and Modern West have been frequent visitors to Nashville, most recently playing the Ryman Auditorium last year. In 2020, the band released "Tales from Yellowstone," an album inspired by his character and others on the hit TV series.
