Kevin Durant tests positive for coronavirus -report

NBA superstar Kevin Durant has tested positive for coronavirus, one of four Brooklyn Nets players who has contracted the rapidly-spreading disease.

That's according to a report from the Athletic, which on Tuesday quoted the Nets forward as saying: "Everyone be careful, take care of yourself and quarantine. We're going to get through this."

Earlier on Tuesday, the Nets said that four of its players were isolated after testing positive for coronavirus but did not identify the players by name.

The team said three of the players were asymptomatic while one was showing symptoms.

The news comes less than a week after the NBA suspended it’s season due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Last week, the Utah Jazz reported that two of its players had tested positive for the coronavirus, including Rudy Gobert, who said he regretted not taking the threat more seriously sooner in a Twitter post on Sunday.
