Kewanee Chamber's Concert in Park series starts Thursday
The Kewanee Chamber of Commerce Concert in the Park Series will take place this summer at Veterans Park. The series kicks off at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 23.

Music will once again be sponsored by Petersen Health Care, State Bank of Toulon, Lincoln School Veterinary Clinic and Schueneman & Tumbleson Funeral Home.

A food tent sponsored by Navigate Realty/Justin Landwehr and operated by Boy Scout Troop 180 opens at 5 p.m., featuring some of the best food you remember from their booth at Francis Park. Petersen Healthcare will provide free dessert each week at 6:15.
"It's hard to imagine that this will be our 26th year at the park " said Mark Mikenas Kewanee Chamber of Commerce. "We hope people will come out and enjoy the free concerts, the park has plenty of shade and always seems to have a breeze."

Opening the series this year will be the Jim Markum Swing Band. The concert series runs every Thursday through Aug. 25.
