According to him, the city center, as well as the Nemyshlyan and Slobid neighborhoods were affected by the night attacks on Kharkiv.

The attacks damaged a college building and critical infrastructure communications facilities, and windows shattered in several residential buildings. In addition, the debris damaged several city trolleybuses.

"Where the enemy rockets hit, there is nothing that even remotely resembled military objects,” Terekhov stressed.

“They attack the civilian infrastructure exclusively, trying to deprive us of educational institutions, transport, and people of their homes.”

According to the official, there were no casualties or injuries as a result of the overnight strike in Kharkiv.

Earlier, Terekhov stated that due to the "tense situation" with shelling of the city, there are no plans to open schools in Kharkiv on Sept. 1, the traditional start of the Ukrainian scholastic year.
